"She"? I thought the driver was a "he." The second sentence appears to be saying that abnormal symptoms have been identified in 120 close contacts. Perhaps it was intended to say "Up to now, 120 close contacts have been identified and are being monitored for abnormal symptoms."

Translations will often switch the genders. Also, your guess as to what it should have said is correct. 120 close contacts (which Treyfish later reported as friends and HEALTH CARE (staff).
