Reasons targeting poultry traders and collectors, as in the traditional market is where the circulation of birds from various villages in Buleleng.

In fact, outside Buleleng suspected poultry are also many in the traditional markets in Buleleng. To that end, Distanak suggest traders and collectors do not bring in poultry from outside the region. Therefore, poultry imported from outside the area or from areas that have been infected with bird flu is very difficult diteksi. ''We continue to provide insight to merchants to get together to be alert because the virus is very difficult to detect. We also recommend traders to sell and wear a mask when cleaning the cage sanitation,'' he said.

On the other side, Mertha Jiwa said domestic poultry were found dead when the team doing the spraying declared bird flu negative. This is corroborated by the results of rapid tests conducted showed domestic poultry that died was not because of bird flu, but suspected because of the heat or trampled by the other chickens in the cage. ''We've done the test through saliva and feces of chickens that died, the result is negative and we conclude that chickens died because of other factors,''he explained. (KMB)
