Number of Dead Chickens Due to Bird Flu Reaches 38 Thousand Tails

For that, he hopes the South Sulawesi provincial government provide immediate relief to cope with bird flu in Sidrap. Aziz also claimed that officers had been lowered 24-hour standby. However, Aziz also called on the active role of communities and farmers to immediately report any suspected bird flu on its territory.
"I really expect all elements of society to report if it finds the case to the animal health posts that we have made in every village and urban villages," pleaded Azis.
Separately, South Sulawesi Livestock Kadis Ir Murtala Ali told BKM, said yesterday, to prevent the spread of bird flu disease to other districts, Sidrap been isolated. All birds from Sidrap forbidden to be taken to other districts.
"All the regions bordering the Sidrap we watch closely. Birds of Sidrap not allowed out of Sidrap," said Murtala.
Regarding the request disenfektan, Murtala claimed to have sent as many as 850 liters of additional disenfektan to Sidrap. "We also tomorrow (today) will come down to Sidrap to help the handling of bird flu," he said.
Asked about the data chickens that died due to bird flu, Murtala confess, the last data received by the Animal Husbandry Department Sulawesi about 12 thousand heads. "The data we received in writing, even if the Animal Husbandry Department has reported 38 Sidrap thousand more, I do not know yet," he said.
