5 cases of bubonic plague, four in one family and one child died in the Chicama Valley

. The head of Bethlehem Hospital Epidemiology of Trujillo. . Pedro Diaz Camacho, confirmed that there were five probable cases infected with bubonic plague in the district of Chicama, Ascope province, department of La Libertad.


Four of these cases belong to one family because the infected are cousins and also a four year old child died with similar symptoms to this disease. Today will be confirmed if there is an outbreak of bubonic plague in the Chicama Valley
