Egypt: Indian sailors detained on suspicion of swine flu

Quarantine authorities have detained an Indian sailor named Kamal Pest, at the age of 30 years after the Alexandria hospital fevers suspected of being infected with swine flu, bringing the total cases, which was seized on suspicion of being infected with the disease to 101 cases, laboratory test results were negative for 100 cases of infection, and one case, "the Indian seas" under the testing laboratory, said Dr. Abdel Rahman Shahin, official spokesman of the Ministry of Health.

وأضاف شاهين أن مصر لا تزال خالية من أنفلونزا الخنازير، مشيرا إلى أن الخط الساخن تلقى 1078 اتصالا ما بين استفسارات وبلاغات، وبذلك يصل إجمالى الاتصالات منذ مايو وحتى الأمس، إلى 52791 اتصالا.
Shaheen added that Egypt is still free of swine flu, noting that the hotline received 1078 inquiries between phone and communications, bringing the total since May, communications and even yesterday, a call to 52791.
