استكملت مديرية أمن 6 أكتوبر جهودها للقضاء على وباء أنفلونزا الطيور بالمحافظة، وذلك عن طريق مداهمة أصحاب المحلات والمزارع التى تحتوى على طيور حاملة للمرض، حيث سجلت المديرية عدد 4 قضايا فى يوم واحد بمركز كرداسة.
